Excellent! Is there anything I can get downloaded and installed in anticipation of them sorting themselves out?

I'll PM you the instructions.

I had a PM from the other guy who used them and he said it all went OK but if you have any Q's just ask.

Unfortunately you will need another SIM to complete the unlock once you have your code from O2 and make sure it's a Voda, Orange/T Mob or Three SIM (PAYG will do fine).

So just to recap. The instructions are for a Galaxy S2 which will update it with a 4.2.2 custom ROM (All the usual disclaimers apply, but I don't forsee any issues).

Decision needs to be primarily based of how important the phone warranty is to you. "If" anything was to go wrong with the phone and you were running a custom ROM you might have voided your warranty.
