As your issue is intermittent it is more likely to be a signal or sim card issue.
You can pop into any O2 shop and get a new sim card easily, whilst you wait.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi.

Check your service status to see if your masts are ok here http://status.o2.co.uk

Try turning it Off Via 1760 and then back on via 1750 if Your not using Tugo or Try dialling ##002#. This is the short code to cancel all diverts, including Voicemail 901.

You can lengthen the number of rings it takes for voicemail to kick in too.

You can lengthen the time to a max of 30 seconds by entering code :
**61*901*11*30# SEND
30 is the number of seconds you can do this in times of 05 seconds
05, 10, 15 etc.

SEND means call as in dialling the code

Of course it's all guess work and we can only advise what it possibly could be.

If the remedies I suggest do not work then do think about swapping your SIM card which can take up to 24 hours to settle.

Have put the code in to extend the time to answer, about cancelling voicemail with the other code, how would I put it back on again if I decide to cancel it, and then want it back?
