Apart from speed of getting new firmware, what benefit is there to having the unbranded firmware, does it make the phone more responsive ect or is there no difference

Less network bloatware makes it use less RAM and is therefore more efficient (speed & battery usage).

Ok thanks MI5, wasn't sure how much bloat ware there was on there apart from the start-up and shutdown splash screen
