Not applicable

I got the latest update earlier today. No idea what improvements came with this, apart from pedometer which now has no lag.

I still cannot apply a time period for the 'interruptions' which is what I was hoping the update might include. So I still need to make sure 'priority' interruptions only is activated manually so as not to be disturbed after 8 p.m.

Why can't we just have 'blocking mode' reinstated which worked perfectly well?

oops! how did you manage to smash the screen?  I'm thinking of buying 2013 16gb from Argos @ £149.99 this weekend.  If it's as slick as my S5 is now, I'll be very happy.

@jonsie I bought Nexus 7 2013 today and it's downloaded 3 x firmware updates to now being v4.4.4 as I had on 2012 model, before 5.02 bricked it. 2013 now asking to install 5.02. How's your 2013 since 5.02 update? Should I stay with 4.4.4 until bugs are fixed?

It's been fine, no lag or freezing and very smooth. However, I can't say there is much difference in all honesty with regards to appearance or extra features. Some menu options have changed and some settings disappeared.

I think personally I preferred 4.4.4 but I'm having no problems with 5.0.2 so it's your choice. If I had the choice now, I probably wouldn't update it yet....

I'm thinking the same and will keep 2013 on 4.4.4 for the time being.  Will install factory 4.4.4 image to 2012 and sell to recover some of the cost incurred buying 2013. Thanks for advice.

No worries slight_smile

The only reason mine has updated is because it downloaded while I was in Thailand and I couldn't access anything due to the screen and digitalizer being broken. Sent it for repair when I got back and they had installed it when I went to pick it up....
