I did a search but couldn't find anything.

It's reported Samsung will release this in Nov. Any idea when we'll get it on O2 S2 phones?

Cheers,

Paul.

XEU CSC - This update is for O2U CSC only. You are waiting for Samsung.

My S2 is showing the following firmware PDA:LPH / PHONE:LPC / CSC:LP4 (O2U) I've checked Kies for updates and directly on the phones and still no update available, am I missing something?

Edit. You have the I9100P. Update not released yet.

If you don't use the NFC function you can flash the standard firmware with Odin.

What's up with your case ??

A few cases I've tried for my I9100P (albeit the snug, body-glove, shoe-horn type) simply don't fit 'snug' or snap-on like you'd expect.  The one I'm using now is okay-ish but you can tell that it's not 100%.  In contrast the same cases have no issues whatsoever with my wife's regular I9100 model.  So given my own experiences and what I can just about see (plus what I've read) is the P model is ever so slightly thicker.  Given the battery has the NFC logic added inside it's not a surprise but Sammy don't seem to formally acknowledge the difference in thickness.  I guess if I used a sock type case it'd be fine wink

I didn't realise that but guessed that might be what you meant. I've got the official Samsung extended battery for mine and there aren't any cases to fit the phone with that battery in either Smiley Frustrated

Any news on the I9100P update? Does anyone have Jelly Bean yet on that device?

Nothing specifically for the P version still but it will work with the standard ROM (without NFC functions).

Yeah I seen that in the message above, I suppose I'm apprehensive to root my phone (I don't use NFC anyway). I'm fairly tech-savy but knowing my luck I'd botch the whole job! lol
