Galaxy S2 4.1.2 bluetooth problem

Anonymous
Not applicable

I updated my S2 to 4.1.2 last night using kies (from ICS it think (it was up to date)), and now it doesnt work with the bluetooth handsfree in my car, when it previously worked great.

Is it possible to roll my phone back to the last version I was running?

Boot it into recovery mode (pull out battery, replace it then hold Vol Up + Home + Power) let go when you first see the splash screen, then choose "clear data/ factory reset, then reboot phone. (Use up /down volume to move and power to execute).

It is possible to reload the ICS firmware if you use Odin, but, have you done a factory reset on the phone since updating? There may be conflicts with the old OS that need removing. Always should do a reset after upgrading firmware.

I assume you are signed into to your Google account on the phone? If so, make sure you have got the option ticked to back up and restore from Google (in main phone settings) and everything from your Google side of things will automatically restore to the phone.

Photos and videos etc either need to be on your SD card or backed up to a PC though....

Okay, some news. I got some improvement, but not enough.

I connects for a short period of time, but doesnt always patch the calls through.

I need to try and put it back the way it was. Is that pretty easy?

I have jailbroken apple products before if that type of depth is required.

No need to do anything fancy...

Download Odin http://www.android.gs/download-odin-3-07/ (read the "how to " on the same site for instruction on how to use it or search my other threads on here) then get ICS firmware from here www.sammobile.com

"GT-I9100 United Kingdom (O2) 2012 June 4.0.3 I9100XWLPD I9100O2ULP7"

5 mins you'll be done slight_smile

Did that, and odin says PASS at the top.
However, it seems to be stuck (about 10 minutes) on the samsung boot screen. Is this normal?
