I'm travelling in New York at present, and have zero data service on my Samsung S8+ (pay monthly) - this worked yesterday but not today.
Data Roaming is switched on in Settings, I have tried toggling between the different local network providers, nothing helps.
O2 is clearly degrading the data service for roaming customers compared to how it performed a few months ago. What do I need to do to resolve this, other than switching my contract provider?
Regards
Mark

If your phone is unlocked you might be better to get a local sim and use that @Anonymous?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't really need the hassle of an additional SIM, and I'm paying GBP4.99 per day in order to use these data services, so I think it's reasonable for me to expect them to work!

I agree @Anonymous however the service isn't working, hence your post on here. It may be a network glitch as we have seen other posts stating the same problem whilst in the USA. It was simply offered as an alternative should your problems continue...

They suggested the problem may be due to the storms?
Just a point worth mentioning is that your 4.99 a day is only changed on the days you use the phone so if you were to use a loca sim you wouldn't be paying o2 also.
