Changing phones question

Hi all,

Hopefully these are a quick and easy set of questions slight_smile

My current phone (Samsung Galaxy from 2015) is too old to run the NHS Covid app, so I was going to get a Galaxy A10 to replace it and access the app. My queries are:

  1. O2 is my current network, so if I put the SIM from my old phone into the new one, will I still have my PAYG credit and phone number to use?
  2. The old phone has a micro SIM and the new one will use a nano SIM - am I right in thinking that O2 can still convert a micro to a nano at their shops?

Thanks in advance for any answers!

1 - You will retain your credit as long as it's the same account.

2 - You may be able to push the middle out of your sim to make it Nano, but if not, any O2 store wil swap your sim for free.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
