My Note 4 is hammered for everything and will do 3 days easily.....
But does it still have all the weird small things that nobody except me uses on the Note 3? I always worry that I'll repeat my nightmare of replacing a Nokia 3310 with an 8210, having only played with the 8210 for a few minutes and not realising what was missing .
For example, on the note 3, the ftp client built in to "my files", (not the web browser), allows you to do uploads, (the web browser ftp does not). Is that still in the note 4? Exactly the sort of thing no review site thinks to mention.
Ask me when I'm sober and I can decode your message Spock

Ok so I didn't airplane mode it last night as I left the phone on charge (it was on 1% when I went to bed).
So this morning I have been using it for just short of an hour almost entirely on here and Facebook and I have used 20% of my battery. .....
Does this sound normal or do I need to flash it to core Android?
If you've got the screen brightness on maximum and using wifi, it sounds normal to me. If you've got the screen dimmed and just using mobile data, it sounds excessive.
The airplane mode test described will be a fairer test, though. Well worth doing.

The screen is on about 35% and yes using wifi.
I would have expected better than that if you're using the screen that dim...

Hence my question really.
I have 3 choices here. Either:
I just accept it fit what it is
I change version of OS
Get a Note 4
