I've been on the Note 4 for about 2 hours, wifi, screen on auto and adaptive display on and I'm at 93%.
But seriously, is the screen more energy efficient, or is it just darker?
This battery life difference alone is pushing me to the note 4, but I'm skeptical that such a vast improvement has been made, and want to be sure that it's not just different usage patterns.
I have disabled the auto brightness, and just have it on maximum all the time. Presumably that will kill battery life on the note 4 as well, but how much?
If I could get a whole day of heavy use out of it, I'd buy one today. But it seems an impossible dream.

The screen is on about 35% and yes using wifi.
I would have expected better than that if you're using the screen that dim...Hence my question really.
I have 3 choices here. Either:
I just accept it fit what it is
I change version of OS
Get a Note 4
@Anonymous the improved battery life @MI5 mentions is really true, (sorry to doubt, but it seems incredible to me), it's a no-brainer. Note 4.
