4G issues (only for a few days).

Not sure where to post this but I want to see if anyone else has had this issue or similar.

First of all I use a Oneplus 3, I love it, I have had solid 4G indoors of my home and outdoors. Here are some facts:

1) Several days ago (for an entire month) I had extremely fast 4G.No issues.

2) The network status on status.o2.co.uk - a few days ago said the mast was "BROKEN" that covered the area of LN7.

3) A day later, it said the mast was fixed and there are no problems yet since my 4G signal has either not been there/extremely weak.

4) I can walk 0.5 miles from my home toward Rothwell (Lincolnshire) and get good 4G connection.

5) It doesn't work outside (other than extremely weak, previously very strong), which supervisers have stated it should and will (your website says too).

I can only assume since the Mast has broken it has not been fixed properly as the signal is clearly a lot weaker. I used my 4G connection for broadband I was hitting speeeds of 20-30mb, now I am not getting anywhere near/doesn't work at all.

@MI5 - I got an email today saying they found no faults, I've checked another phone and another SIM, same no 4G, load of crap lol.

They always say that wink

Keep on moaning at them and see if you can get other o2 users to moan at them too, until they do something about it.

Ask them to send someone from the network team to you to "prove" no faults found too slight_smile

Have to wait until the 12th to see, I guess.

Had a similar thing the first few days of having my phone/contract too.

Day before my LTE went, said they were working on mast, said it was broken.

Day after it said fixed, but still didn't work. Website said it worked, staff said it worked... EXCEPT

One staff meember said it was still being worked on and that they had access to that information when others wouldn't?! so strange.

I hope, it's the same as that and will come back properly, the annoying thing is, I walk 0.5 miles toward the mast and I get fast 4G, so I don't know i mean, the signals clearly weakened, but maybe they think that's okay and won't do anything. @MI5

It does sound like it is working but at reduced power - it may also be that another mast outside of your location is not working so your mast might be having to do more work than normal.
Either way, you still need to keep on to cs and it might also be worth putting in a complaint so there is official record of it.
