Following Perksie's advice from the other similarly titled thread that has been listed as solved by someone, thought I'd open a new thread, so any HTC One X users can report on any correspondence they have with O2 about the roll-out of 4.2.2 to the HOX.
The last major update (to 4.1.1) left a lot of users disillusioned with O2 after conflicting answers from a variety of sources. If anyone can tell me how to post a link to that thread for reference I will. I will also copy and paste my comment from the other ('solved') thread below.
Let's hope O2 get it right this time.
@Toby & @Chiara, can you help us at all....?

I'd say if you didn't get this you're lucky, the update deployed to my phone for HTC sense 5 and 4.2.2 (02, bought from Tesco May 2012, totally original with no rooting etc) has totally screwed it. Not sure if O2 briefly released something and then pulled it but after much crashing I eventually got stuck in a boot loop and despite a hard reset it's still knackered so will have to go off to HTC

Hi. My WiFi has been knocked for 6 also. More than 10 feet from the router and no joy.
In response to a support ticket to HTC I received this on the 21st.
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with your wifi after the update.
Yes we have heard that there should be a fix to this problem coming soon, but unfortunately we don't have an exact date, so in this case I would just keep an eye after updates on the phone, if it doesn't show up by itself you could go in to settings- about- software updates- check now.
Fingers crossed.

Has anybody noticed an increase in volume when playing music through headphones since the update? Have had to turn mine down quite significantly from my previous settings as it's too loud.

Hi guys and gals, is anyone else having an issue with their rear facing camera being really blurry since the update? I've cleared the camera app cache and numerous other things but all to no avail! The front facing camera is still perfectly fine as well which I find a little odd.
I've got some pictures from the day before and today in case anyone thinks it may help ... ?

There was a secondary update which was an update to the camera software. After the main 4.2.2 install i checked for updates again and a camera one was there, along with a Sense one. Have you installed these? The main camera on mine is fine, the one you film yourself with has always been cr@p imo...
