Q. Samsung announced 512GB & 1TB versions of the S10. Will you have them?

Q. Samsung announced 'Ceramic White' version of the S10. Will you have that?
A.
We have no current plans to stock this variant but we'll let everyone know if or when that changes

Q. Samsung announced a 5G enabled S10 and the Galaxy Fold. Will you get these?
A. We’ll let you know more information about these as and when we get it.

Q. Samsung also announced the new Galaxy Watch Active and wireless Galaxy Buds. Will you have them?
A. Great news! Both of these will be joining the O2 range in the coming weeks. We’ll share more info about these soon.

Discount / Cost / Pricing Info

Q. When will I be able to use my O2 Open or student discount on the new S10?

A. Yes, the new S10 range of devices are all available on our Family Plan. More info on Family Plan here.

Upgrade Info

Q. Will you have enough stock for everyone who wants a new S10?
A. We expect there to be high demand for the new S10's and recommend customers pre-order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment

Q. I'm wanting to upgrade but want to know all my available options
A. As upgrades are very much account specific and the details can vary from person to person, we'd recommend checking your My O2 app for upgrade options. You can also get in touch with our upgrade team to discuss – just call 202 and select the appropriate options from our IVR menu.

Q. What if I want to upgrade earlier than my yearly upgrade date?
A. This is possible thanks to the power of O2 Refresh. With O2 Refresh, you can upgrade at any time by simply paying off the remainder of your device plan agreement. You can off-set much or all of this cost by using O2 Recycle to trade-in your existing device.

Pre-order / Availability / Order Info

Q. I pre-ordered at *date/time*, when will I get my new S10?

A. When pre-ordering, our estimate delivery date was displayed above the custom plans slider on the shop page. As soon as there's progress with your order however, we'll let you know.

@Billy95 - my point is as it effects all networks and is a Samsung product, O2 can only do so much to resolve the situation. The frustration towards O2 wont speed up the resolution unfortunately.

And it’s not all networks problem as I bought one from EE this afternoon and will be returning it as long as my o2 one arrives within 2 weeks from today... only o2’s problem for not purchasing enough s10 plus models to supply their preorders with.

No Billy, O2 can't help anyone or they would of emailed/texted you and customer services don't even know what day it is.
Samsung are laughable, I'd rather give £900+ to charity and I have, Dove House Hospice, Hull.

@Cleoriff

Very interresting point you make re the trading in phones and not getting upgrades because I'm not sure how people have gotten into that predicament unless O2 have actively taken in trade ins before issuing a new phone. If so bad move.

However in my experience this hasnt been the case. I got the S7, S9+ and soon to be hopefully S10+ at release and also traded in my phone but O2 never took my trade in off me before giving me the new device.

I completely get you with the company car, being an accountant by trade we get it alot from clients with regards to the benefit in kind. As you say there never free.

I'm not sure how anyone has geared themselves up to be phoneless however.

Its not O2s business model that has failed however as the issue is a Samsung issue across networks. O2 can't regulate what deliveries they get to its entirely I can only assume. What has been lacking is O2 keeping customers and clients in the dark! We can certainly agree on that I am sure.

Like I say it's not great and you want to get hands on I appreciate that but it really can wait haha. Same here I'm out enjoy your phones when you get them people. Sure they'll live up to expectations.

Doubt Samsung would help. I assume theyd wash their hands but there is a limit on what O2 can do. I think you've done best by cancelling

@Chris_K, the people who have asked for help from you have heard nothing from you,  you asked me for some very  confidential information regarding my Samsung account and not followed them up, please don't waste our time anymore.

Sorry you feel that way, but I have followed it up internally and I await further details on the situation. Soon as I've heard back i'll follow up with you privately.
