First of all, welcome to the community! If you want to get help, please post a new thread in the devices or products & services forums. However, if you would like to introduce yourself, this thread is the perfect place for it. I'll kick it off, just to get the ball rolling. 

So as you can see, my name is Leonard and I've joined the O2 team in June to take care of the community. I'd love to hear a bit more about you, so please let us know who you are

my name is stewart i have been on O2 for 5 years now and have changed my wifes phone from a sony to an Iphones 3 gs so that she can get used to the iphone before i get her the 4s or 5.

My problem is that when we try to send picture messages or connect to the internet outside it states not connected to mobile data network but we are pay monthly and the settings are correct so could it be the phone as it is unlocked reconditioned.

Any help would be appreciated

is the 3gs on a iPhone data package? or a PAYG that's set up correctly

Try changing the APNs to mobile.o2 .co.uk unless you have the iphone data bolt on where the APNs should be idata.o2.co.uk.

Reboot the phone after changing any settings.

Hi all

Finally found my way in. Been with o2 getting on for four years now. Was a member of Forum but unable to get in since changes. Made some posts in the past. Tried to use old user name, said it was being used. Said i forgot password with old user name, then it would not recognise it. Anyway changed user name.

Nice to be on board again
