I did however manage to preorder just before then.
It’s a lovely phone but very strange after using a plus for the last 2 years. Most apps haven’t scaled up either so lots look tiny on screen

In times past, o2 handset pricing has been rrp. With interest free period within refresh. How come iPhone X handset cost whilst choosing buy handset upfront is £1131.99 £132 over retail?? In a time when Apple offer handset only 20 months interest free or the same inclusive of AppleCare both of which offer 12 month upgrades??? Also when linked to my other post regarding 10gb tariff, i guess o2 don’t want to offload many handsets.!?

Am looking at iPhone X monthly contracts and am underwhelmed by the offering. As per my other post regarding handset costs I note that the 10gb+ 10gb free tariff when bundled to iPhone X paym is £29 but the same when SIMO is £21?? Why is this? SIMO is also a 12 month contract.
So in my mind I’m sticking to my current SIMO deal and buying iPhone X interest free direct with Apple.
ps after a conversation last Friday with CS and subsequent email complaint regarding the CS chat and my account, you guys missed your 5 day response and are losing a customer of 12 years too.

Not 100% gonna be right but I’d say like 3rd week to 4th week from the 27th October. Could be later though. I just expect Apple to catch up with stock they normally do by December ish time. But this was much lower stock. Good luck. Home this helps.
