Whoopee! This is what o2 sold their broadband service for! Upsetting a lot of people. How many compatable devices are there anyway? Not that many.

I won't be buying a 4G phone anytime soon as 3G and wifi speeds are sufficient for my needs. Be interesting to see the tariffs though.

I just got (last Friday) a Motorola Razr HD sim free and unlocked, which is 4G ready. When I went into an O2 shop to swap sims, they gave me a 4G sim, so I'm ready if I want it. Having said that, I am still on my legacy unlimited web tariff, so I don't think I'll be moving to 4G any time soon either.
