Transferring number across to O2 query- does it have to be mine (account holders) number?

Hi there

I have recently got a SIM as part of the Volt deal and as I am currently in contract myself I can't transfer my number across without paying an early termination charge.

My wife, however, is out of contract- so would I be OK to transfer hers across and if so on the page where I have to enter the details and it asks for name and e-mail I would presume I enter hers as opposed to mine that I use to sign into my O2 account with?

Thanks in advance

You need to enter your wifes name and then the email address you use for the account, as there are verification checks done by both networks.

Full details on porting in can be found here Guide: Migration & porting into O2
