iPhone 11 to iPhone 12

I currently have iPhone 11 Pro Max but I want to get the iPhone 12 pro max. I’m just wondering about SIM cards. Will be current sim work on the 12 or will I need to get a new sim card completely. Also to note that 5g isn’t covered where I live

The sim card will be fine in the 12.

You only need the new sim if you want 5G in case you travel to those areas

We advise people to use their current sim card

A sim swap for 5G would best be done after the New Year but here is the link for when you are ready
