Hi all,

Moved to a new PAYM SIM-only deal this week and ported my number (a number I've had for 20+ years across many networks).  Set-up of iMessage and FaceTime is failing on my iPhone 12 Mini.

I've tried resetting network settings, resetting all settings, rebooting, hard resetting and tried the SIM in a different iPhone - nothing will activate iMessage or FaceTime.

Can anyone help? @O2Emma ?

It's taking around a week for the systems to update and catch up at the moment.

Just check that your number is correct in Settings >Phone >My number

Thanks for sharing this, and I get what you're trying to say.  I wouldn't be perhaps so frustrated if my wife's SIM (purchased two days before) had ported and activated iMessage flawlessly...

I'll keep waiting.
