how do i disable 2 factor authentication

my account has 2 factor authentication that i never asked for and is half baked, i want to abandon the 2 factor authentication, there is no remember this device option and no option to send the code to email instead of text meaning if i had no signal i would not be able to login

You cant, and no they cant email it to an email address.

it seems like o2 are making us unpaid beta testers of it then with no opt out, if o2 is making me a beta tester i want them to pay me £11.50 an hour when i am using the o2 website, the minimum wage

The 2FA has been in place for about a year or so, on accounts..  

 

You seem to want to use a VPN as you have insecure WIFI but dont want to use 2FA...and want it emailed to you, which is insecure, as if your email is hacked through the unsecure wifi connection you are screwed..
