Okay, so I am a bit of a dummy.  I am having my first experience with an "eSIM" and am not sure if I have activated it correctly or not.

We're talking Samsung S9 / Android to Samsung S23 Ultra / Android.

My previous data plan was 2GB per month.

My new data plan is unlimited data.

Where as everything on my new device appears to be operational, when I look at the mobile data section in settings, it still reads "of 2GB remaining," as opposed to eluding to any unlimited data on my new plan.

My O2 (app / website) shows 5 circles:  0MB left of 2GB25GB left of 25GB Europe Zone fair usage data; Unlimited UK Data; Unlimited Minutes; Unlimited Texts.

Have I successfully switched over to my new plan and my phone is simply showing the 0MB left of 2GB because the bill date of my previous plan has not yet arrived?

Thank you from the bottom of my technologically-impaired heart if you take the time to respond to this query and put my mind to rest!

p.s.
If it means anything at all, when someone telephones me, it is the new device that rings, and not the old one.

You can edit that part @jdquenzer as it is just a data counter on the phone.

Sounds like as you are increasing your allowance the system is showing both, although the left value is picking up the new allowance.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

@jdquenzer If you're able to receive calls on your new phone and you don't have a physical sim installed, your esim is obviously working.

We don't have access to other customer's accounts. Call customer service if you still need help with your allowances.
