@Hamlin76

Some help here https://www.instructables.com/How-to-access-your-phone-when-you-forgot-your-scre/

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

If a Samsung, this article talks about recovering a device in this state, @Hamlin76https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/other-smartphones/screen-unlock/td-p/177170

In case it offers any other nugget that helps...

Also check your screen touch sensor is calibrated, in case that is interfering.

Good luck.

Thanks for your help. I had a look and I do not even get the option to sign in via google or back up PIN. It is a Samsung S10. I will keep looking

If a S10 then go to your Google account on a PC

Go to Find My Device

Click on unlock screen

Then reset the security on the mobile
