I recently upgraded my phone and in 24 hours I have to keep updating the software 14 times, I got hold of someone on 202 and got a new phone delivered today, it's doing the same thing, I'm on my 5th update since 3pm today.

Is there an issue with the model of phone?

It might be worth speaking to Sony Support as they are the ones sending the constant updates but for a 2021 phone, it could be doing multiple update..

Also might be worth having a look on the Sony Forums, or Reddit, to see if anyone else has had the issue..

Updates need to be applied sequentially so you potentially have 2 years worth of software and security updates to catch up with.

With a security update on average every month that's at least 24 before you start with firmware updates.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
