Hi,

I can't seem to get WiFi calling working at my place of work.  It works great at home, and at my parents, but nothing at work.  The icon doesn't even show up.  I have absolutely no mobile signal in my office, but I get perfect WiFi signal as we have an access point within our office.  My network admin says all the ports are open for my phone.  I got a note of the ports from this forum and my admin says they are all setup correctly.  Other staff have the same settings and their phones work no problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Barry

Thanks for the information @Bazman I am looking into issue a bit further as we know wifi calling feature works on phone at home address, you are the only Samsung Note 10 user at work all other phones work so this would suggest its something with the Samsung note 10 and your wifi connection at work .

Have you ever tried the wifi calling at a relative/friends house wifi.

Thanks

@Bazman Is there anybody with you with a o2 phone to try your sim in to see if the wifi calling works then so we can try and narrow down what can be causing the issue please.

Yes, the wifi calling works at my home address, also at my parents address, and it works at a friend's house as well. Out of all my work colleagues in my department, I'm the only one with the Note 10+ 5G.

I am now back at my parents and won't be back on campus until Wednesday now as I'll be working from home the beginning of the week. I do have my old One Plus 5t phone which was on O2 that I can try. I'm just charging it up now, and I can try my sim in it shortly.

I've just tried my sim in the One Plus 5t and it automatically shows the VoLTE icon at the top. It did this before when I used to use this phone, but I can't remember if I ever used it at work, as circumstances were different then. I might be able to take it into work on Wednesday and see if I can get the network admim to set it so the One Plus works with the WiFi calling. At least that will tell us if it's the network or the phone.

Hi, @O2Emma @madasaf1sh ,

Sorry for the late reply.  Nothing got looked at last week, but my admin had another look on the server and made another change.  All is working ok now with the WiFi calling.  He didn't say what he actually did apart from put my phone's IP details into another section, and within 30 seconds the WiFi calling icon showed up and I could make and receive calls.  Thanks again for all your help.

Cheers,

Barry

Hi @O2Emma

Thanks.  I'm glad it's finally working now.  One thing I have noticed with it though.  When I leave the  vacinity of the WiFi signal, and then come back, it doesn't automatically show it again.  I have to turn on flight mode and then turn it off before the WiFi calling shows up.  It's not a big deal, but this doesn't happen with other WiFi connections.

Thanks.  I'm glad it is working, as I reduces the stress knowing I can make and receive calls now.
