O2 Official Message from site. I live literally 200 yards from the mast they are talking about in Chorley.

Sorry, a phone mast close to you isn't working.

Looks like a phone mast near to you isn't working as it should, sorry. Our engineers are on the case and making progress but your service might come and go until we fix it. We'll update you by Friday 19th August 2022.

This is the result of my network check as I cannot use my phone again today, same as yesterday. Phoned local O2 shop in Chorley to complain my phone is useless no network. They state that they have no knowledge of any issues, stated that I should call customer services or call in the shop. Not able to today.

Visited O2 website, as is now the norm with these sites they just run you around with links so that you cannot find a telephone number or customer service contact, just keep running me in circles, bloody cheap show this. Even if matter of life or death you will not find a quick way to make contact with a person.

So the official site is useless when issues arise, its not geared to the customers issues with prompt contact details, you are just provided with links that will eventually wear you out, I can only find that I have to follow this link to raise my issues. My local shop in my area stated no knowledge of issues when the above statement is on the o2 website checker.

So you now state it will be the 19/8/22 before breakdown resolved and mast fixed. what compensation now am I going to get.

I suppose that unless I follow the useless site links I will not get a personal response just some type of community response. O2 only any good if no issues arise.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this
