Vodafone number to O2

I have transferred a Vodafone number to O2 via a PAC code.  

i have an acknowledgement from O2 that this has switch has been done and the number is shown on my O2, yet when i call the number from a landline the old phone with the Vodafone sim rings.

 

i have switched on/off both phones with no joy

 

anyone know if this takes some time?

 We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from the forum.

You need  to contact O2.

If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help. Or call them on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract)

It can take a couple of days for everything to settle down @KetC , but if both the old and new sim are still working you need to get in touch with o2.

You might have something called a split port where it has not transferred correctly.
