Keep getting texts saying I've set up visual voicemail when I don't want it. Tried turning off the normal voicemail multiple times but that didn't work. Seems like a system glitch. I'm on a Google Pixel 6 Pro. Any help would be appreciated.

Go into the voicemail settings on your phone and turn off the option for VVM.

It will be on by default but not supported on O2.

If that doesn't help

Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract)

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

You will find the visual voicemail switch in your dialler settings.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If you are not quite as tech savvy as others, this may help. On a Google Pixel 6, tap the icon to make a phone call. Select the 3 dots at the top right hand side of the screen and select settings. Scroll down and select Voicemail. Then turn off Visual Voicemail. I've had issues with voicemail on my phone for some time. I started off not receiving notifications. And now every time I turn my phone off and back on again, I receive a message telling me I have new voicemail when I don't
