Unable to update number after porting

I ported my number from 3 to O2 on my iPhone 11 and everything seems to be fine except that I cannot update my number in settings, the temporary O2 number is still showing and when I try to update it won’t save.

i have tried switching the phone on and off numerous times and even removed the sim, but it won’t update.

First thing to try is a reset of your network settings.

If it still won't update after that, you'll need a new sim from any O2 store.
