You may want to call O2 to make sure there are no roaming bars on your account. Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

Only time you need to change any settings are if you have an iPhone. Check your data APN and change it to

"mobile.o2.co.uk."

Other than that, you should be fine.

Only if you don't have the idata bolt on enabled.

If you do, there's no need to change it.
