Bought new sim on 22nd Dec, entered puk code when purchasing to transfer number. Received SIM card on the 27th Dec. 29th Dec phoned O2 customer services to say my phone number has not been changed, gave them puk code again, told it would be done by the end of day 30th Dec. Nothing phoned 31st, gave them puk code again, was told it is being done Tuesday 3rd Jan without fail. Wrong! Wednesday 4th Jan phoned O2 will be done by end of the day they said. Now Wednesday evening still no number transfer and O2 have the gall to take £8 out of my account for my first bill, even though I’ve not received a phone call and the only phone calls I’ve made are to O2 customer services.
Any one got any further ideas on how to proceed apart from phoning customer services each day only to be told it will be sorted by end of the day. Any advice gratefully received.
