I contacted 202 last Friday and asked for my number to be swapped from my old Virgin sim to my new o2 sim, but 1 week later and it hasnt happened, despite that i was told it would happen within a few days.
Is this standard practice? do i need to spend another 30 minutes calling 202 to find out what has happened or how long do these transfers take?
As a new customer to o2 its the worst kind of first impression you can give to your customers!

@Dunkz It certainly should have gone through by now, and as it's the long holiday weekend there's no chance of it happening before Tuesday, as it appears O2 have dropped the ball yet again: Migration & porting into O2 - O2 Community
Unfortunately you'll have to chase it up with customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
