SIM card not showing in account

Hi. 
I’ve just received my SIM card. When I go into my O2 account to activate it, the account says I don’t have any products associated with the account. 
I’ve put the sim into the phone but though it shows 4G, it won’t give me an option to connect to my home’s WiFi. 
What can I do to rectify it please?

Connecting to your home WiFi doesn't sound like a SIM problem to me. 

What make and model of 'phone are you using ? We can then try to give you some guidance to follow.
