Can't ring out from Australia despite having bolt-on that otherwise works.

Hi All,
Here's a small update on this issue after reading recent posts:
• I can now make/receive calls whether I have my phone in 4G, 5G or 5G auto.
• WiFI calling absolutely has to be off.
I have noticed that my phone auto-connects to the network provider has changed from OPTUS to Telstra. Before the issue was resolved, I could manually select Telstra and Vodaphone BUT only make SIOS calls.
My wife's phone is still unable to make/receive calls. She was a couple of days behind me, raising a support ticket. We've re-tried setting it to 4G with Wifi calling off; it didn't work, so there must be another part to the issue - it still defaults to OPTUS on auto network selection and Telstra/Vodaphone on manual gives only SOS calls.

Afternoon @madasaf1sh
Currently, in Australia PAYG customers will need to make calls over apps such as WhatsApp.
Data and SMS are not impacted.

According to material coming from Australia any phone not able to call over 4G is not allowed on the network... full stop. This is to do with not being able to make emergency calls. So no text or data

Then you will have read this update from the Community Forum Manager, @maz177 -
If you are O2 PAYG, you're out of luck unless using WhatsApp or similar from anywhere with WiFi.
If a contract customer, then https://www.o2.co.uk/help/network-coverage-and-international/wifi-and-4g-calling
Good luck

Follow the advice given
The reason seems to lie at the Australian Networks end, sorry to say
