Pre ordered an s25 ultra and got it on 31.01 looks great but the camera is faulty has a dark spot visible.

Went into store to exchange, had all the packaging etc. The store had the like for like replacement in front of them all seemed well, went to process and the assistant was unable to find S25 ultra in the drop down menu on the o2 stores software so was unable to issue the replacement.

I was sent away and told to call 202 however on o2 chat they want me to send them the phone, then they will send replacement.  I can't do without a phone due to ill relative and I don't want to buy a budget temporary one. Why can I not exchange in store? Seems ridiculous.  I want to transfer all my contacts etc from one phone to the next, don't want to back it up to a cloud I've lost data before. Anyone have a solution?

Remind O2 of their own policy on faulty devices.

If bought in store, it has to be replaced in store.

Have a word with Samsung

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/?

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
