Hi
I've just purchased a new Samsung ultra watch to go with my phone .It comes with its own number as I chose the " not now " option as was recommended when buying .
I've looked around and Google searched how to pair it with my existing number so that the other number is negated .
On looking the " solution " on the forums is visiting an O2 store to get it set up . Is there no way of just pairing it to my Samsung phone on set up ?
If its going to be overly comicated I might just return the watch .
On buying i was expecting an " already with us " option so was slightly surprised that it was a new contract that was needed to get it .
Many thanks in advance for any replies

To get the watch working as stand alone, it needs a new data plan and you may need a new sim @Jaijai which is why the trip to the store is required.
The linked post below shows all the steps to get it working correctly:

I got a 1gb data plan when I got it ,so if I do go forward as its within the 2 week cancellation the existing new 1gb plan would get cancelled for a new one with a new e sim .Is that how it would work ?
Seems overly complicated considering the tech these days.
I'm coming down on the side of just sending it back as it's a 50 mile round trip to my nearest 02 store.
