I am experiencing problems with my phone recognising my SIM card.

Under settings>connections>SIM card manager, SIM 1 (i.e. the SIM card I use) is showing as 'unknown number' - I am not sure why, and under 'preferred SIM card', only 'Mobile Data' appears to be connected to SIM 1, the 'Calls' and 'Messages' options are faded out - I am not sure why...

 

Can anyone tell me how I can fix this?

No number showing is not uncommon so shouldn't be an issue.

You need to check sim 2 options to see if that is somehow enabled for calls.

Thanks everyone - the problem was solved by doing a network settings re-set
