hi

I have just received my new Samsung S23 Ultra through my O2 insurance and after doing an update the pin number has changed and not to my old pin number or 0000 or 1234.  I messaged the chat messaging and the person said I needed to phone the insurance dept, so I did and they said it is a software issue so they put me through to customer services who said it was an insurance issue and was going to put me back through to insurance when I said no I have just come from there, he then said I should phone Samsung, I said I had never heard of anyone having to phone the maker of the phone for a pin unlock, he then said he would arrange for my new phone to be picked up and a new one delivered!  I have never heard such rubbish in all my life, can anyone please help! I am seriously thinking of leaving O2 after 20 years!

O2 won't be able to help as if the default code has been changed they will have no idea what it is as the phone was sent by the Insurance Company

This might be of interest

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Have a look here Solved: Pin suddenly not working - Samsung Members

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
