I am currently on a cruise ship in the English Channel (currently off the coast of Norfolk). I am unable to make or receive phone calls. The phone (recently switched from virgin media to O2) tells me I need Wi-Fi calling to do so. The device is not currently Wi-Fi connected but even so, it tells me I have to contact O2 to enable this - but I have no phone. My elderly mother has just been taken into hospital, so urgent support gratefully needed.

This isnt customer services, so no one can help from here, your only options are to try and connect to wifi and call o2 on 0800 902 0217 (its a free call)  and ask them to enable it.

And also WiFi calling may not work on a Cruise Ship, if there Internet Service does not provide a UK IP address and if they do not block it.
