Out going calls no ringtone

When I make a call using Wi-Fi calling I get no ring tone but the phone rings the other end . Tried on home phone. When I turn off Wi-Fi calling it rings out on my device but not when I dial 0800 numbers .

It all depends on the network you are calling and if they give a ring tone when calling, it can also be down to the handset.
