I have called O2 call centre numerous times to get the bar on my phone number lifted.
After reporting my phone missing on 21/3/25 to O2, I found the phone. I eventually got the bar on the device lifted (the IMEI bar). I have received a replacement SIM and the balance has been transferred OK (PAYG) but I still can't make or receive calls or texts. As mentioned above, I have called a number of times and keep being told different things each time e.g. they will fill in the forms to be passed to the back office and I have been told different times to allow it to be done - 10 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours after which it still hasn't been done. I have been asked numerous times for the number on the sim card and to try the sim card in another device but it still won't work. On 2/5/25 I rang yet again and was told again that the forms will be filled to get the number lifted and to wait until today, 5/5/25 after 6 pm. There is still a bar on the number. I am at a loss as to what to do. My balance is going down but I cannot use my number.
Is it possible this could be solved.

Nothing would have happened today anyway as it's a bank holiday.
