Hi please could I have some help.  I have ported into O2 from 3 and am not receiving one time payment texts.

I am using an iPhone and checked the number in settings which is correct.  I have also phoned customer services and they insisted there wasn’t a problem when there is.  Is someone able to help me please?

Hi @Rmc

There are many people having problems with OTP's. O2 are aware and are looking for a fix.

Hopefully this happens soon.

Best of luck and welcome to the forum 😊

You can ask for it to be removed but it doesn't always work.

Worth a try though. Best of luck x

You can also try turning off wifi @Rmc

If you can, please let us know how you get on, @Rmc.

Be great for community members, especially those suffering the same issue, to see if there's a potentially common solution to it 😁!

Hi everyone - as an update the problem got worse, iMessage stopped working and I couldn’t receive the verification code from Apple to fix it! I tried every solution I could find online (resets, remove SIM etc.)

I contacted O2 via twitter DM and they tried a few things - the first 2 things they did didn’t work, then whatever they did the 3rd time I started to receive the backlog of OTPs and could get new ones.  This allowed me to get a verification code to add my number in settings back to iMessage and a few hours later this also began to work.

It was quite stressful but hopefully now sorted.  It’s definitely not an issue with the handset or spend cap, it is something to do with the porting process. You have to contact O2 to fix you definitely can’t fix yourself.

Thanks for the update @Rmc. I'll tag @lewys-gp to this thread so he is aware.

Just wonder what they actually did to get it working though?
