Hi. I have a PAYG SIM. It should have about £20 of credit on it. It's in a car tracker device. It will not currently send SMSs and it has disappeared from my on-line 02 account. Any idea what might be going on?

When did you last top up or make a chargable call, as if you haven't done so in 6months your number will have been disconnected as per the T&C's

It might also be worth giving o2 a call on 0344 809 0202 or via Social Media send them a message on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

You need 0344 8090222 for PAYG

The Social Media links are the same

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Ok thanks. o2 were able to verify it's not disconnected, but I couldn't get through security as everything they asked was in the o2 account which has been disconnected from the number - catch 22!

Will have to extract the SIM and find a phone to put it in so they verify me via a SMS... Grrrr.

You would be better with an IOT Sim from the likes of AAISP or ScanCom
