I am trying to find out which networks O2/Giffgaff SIM cards use and support.

I am thinking of getting a TP-LINK M7000 mobile WiFi device and I have been told that I need to make sure that the SIM card supports the following network types:

4G: FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20

(2100/1800/850/2600/900/800 MHz)

TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41 (2600/2300/2500 MHz)

3G: HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS: B1/B5/B8(2100/850/900 MHz

However despite asking about and searching online I have been unable to.locate this information.

Can anyone give me an official answer please?

@ricbrown

All the above supported on O2 network.

However, in line with all other networks in the UK, 3g will be turned off completely next year, leaving just 4g and 5g as usable options.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
