- I was with BT and wanted to move across to O2.
- I got my PAC code from BT and gave it to O2.
- I signed up to a O2 sim only contract and received the sim card.
- The network was poor so I invoked my 14 cancellation, I was ensured the porting would no longer happen.
- I continued to use my BT account as normal, however on the porting happened still therefore ending my BT account and leaving me without any mobile network or number.
- I called BT who set me up on a new plan with EE – but without my original number at this was now with O2.
- As my account with O2 was cancelled the number was ported to nowhere within the O2 estate.
- I have called O2 lots of time and nobody fully understands the issue or wants to solve it for me.

@TR2
No one on here can sort this out for you as this is a customer to customer forum.
You will have to persevere with Customer Service or use the likes of Resolver to make a complaint to o2, and just to be clear you should have also told BT to cancel the PAC code, and that you wanted to stay.
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

We used to have o2 advisors on the community who could try and fix this, but they left a few weeks ago @TR2
Your only option now is to keep trying customer services, either by calling or messaging on social media.
Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202.
If you have no access to a phone then use Skype to call 0800 032 140 - Guide: A Guide to Skype
Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.
Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
Link to our guide on how to contact them can be found here

Thanks. I did actually tell BT and also try and cancel the pac code online myself, but unfortunately O2 already made the request for it... hence why the cancel button in my online account wouldn't work. I cancelled my sons fine as I didn't move his across.
