I get calls from people who say that I have just called them, when I haven't called anyone all day. How is this possible

Yep. Scammers have spoofed your number to ring people.

Happened to some of us here

They will nove on.

Really hoopy when your mobile rings, and caller display shows it is your own mobile that is calling you... happened to me once, needless to say I did not answer nor did I report my own number as spam 😖

Any idea @pgn what happens if your number is spoofed and if a significant number of the folks 'phoned by the scammers report your number as spam ? 

Does it have any impact on you ?

Only if one of those people is someone I might need to truly ring one day, I expect, @Oxonian
