I am just completing on the purchase of a house.  I have discovered I have no service at all at the property or in the street?  What do I do, change provider?   I have to keep my number.

And you can take your number with you to the network with the best coverage where your new place is, as explained (for O2 anyway, same processes exist for the other networks) in this guide, @Eileen2013.
