I have recently moved to O2 from EE, only because I cannot get reception at a particular property with EE. I ordered an O2 pay as you go SIM card and set up a rolling plan on it. and have been trying to get my old number ported over for a week after filling in the number transfer form 3 times. EE has confirmed that they ported the number over a week ago and since then I have chased up O2 customer services 3 times - the first agent could not help, the second one kept putting me on hold and disappearing for most of a 30+ minute call then when I refused to be put on hold for a fourth time hung up on me, the third agent tried to move me to a pay monthly SIM rather than PAYG stating that it would make porting quicker, then hung up when I said that I wanted to try O2 as a PAYG customer rather than be tied into a contract until I know how good it's service is! Meanwhile I am stuck in limbo as my usual number does not work. What do you have to do to get your number ported over to O2??

Firstly, I'd contact the sales dept at O2.
Call them on 0800 081 0255 OR message them on Social Media -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

I am in exactly the same position and I did a post tonight on here. My life literally depends on my number. I cannot access my medical accounts not can my surgery team contact me. Just don't know what to do. Surely they can't do this. If you get anywhere let me know. I will do the same.

Have you called O2 on (0800 081 0255), @Bdebz79? The best time to call and get through is 08:10am UK time. Be persistent. That number is free to call from any phone. This is a customer forum, not O2 - nobody here can access your account or records. Good luck!
