How to fix network issues in Portugal with O2

Manually search for another network

Reboot the phone.

If you have an iPhone, go into settings and change your data APN from iData.o2.co.uk. to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

Finally if none of the above works, contact O2 and ask them to remove the roaming bar on your account.
