I have recently upgraded my phone and have inserted a 5G sim card, yet my phone still wont connect to my network and i cant receive calls and texts?

If you upgraded @cassiethomas09- then the new tariff is on your old sim.
Unless you now have a 5G phone, and/or live in a 5G area there is no urgent need to swap to the new sim.
If you do want to, follow the instructions in the guide below
