Hello,
i have checked the network signal on My02 and it is showing that the signal is strong in my area but my phone only has 1 bar of signal and am unable to recieve phone calls due to lack of network signal

Also download the My Network app, where you can report issues

The coverage checker is a best guess based on optimal network conditions, and it could be your house is blocking the radio waves (the laws of physics)
You can always use WiFi Calling using your home broadband..
